Under Canvas Booking Process
Under Canvas is pleased to provide commission on qualified travel advisor bookings made on our website. Please follow these steps when booking to ensure an accurate and timely payment process:
- Click on the “Book Now” button above
- Select dates, and camp location
- Click the “Book Now” button on your tent type selection
- At checkout, please enter your agency address AND IATA/ARC/CLIA or TDIS number in the IATA field

What is Under Canvas’ commission rate?
We pay 10% commission on all validated travel agency bookings made via our website, reservation center or GDS. Commissions are calculated on room revenue only and will be adjusted accordingly if the guest’s stay is modified.
Fees assessed by Under Canvas for cancellation after the specified cancellation time or no-shows are not commissionable. Please review the Under Canvas cancellation policy when booking a reservation.
To be eligible for commission, a valid agency code is required at time of booking.

When are commissions paid?
(For reservations made after November 13, 2023) commissions are processed automatically for reservations made with a valid Travel Advisor number (ARC/IATA/CLIA/TIDs). There is no need to submit an invoice.
Under Canvas processes commissions on a monthly basis, typically for the prior month’s stays. You can expect to receive your commission payment approximately 45-60 days after your guest departs.

We welcome ARC, IATA, TIDs and CLIA* credentials.

How do I contact Under Canvas for missing commission?
Under Canvas uses Onyx as our commission payment provider.
If you are an Onyx member, you may visit the Onyx Center to research and open an inquiry.
If you are not an Onyx member and believe you are missing a commission, you should reach out to agency@undercanvas.com with as many details as possible. We require travel agency credential, reservation confirmation number, guest name, arrival/departures dates and Under Canvas location. Please do not contact the Under Canvas property directly.
Please note that Under Canvas will only accept inquiries for missing commissions between 60 days and 6 months after guest departure.
