1.Old Faithful
What’s not to love about Old Faithful? Old Faithful is a geyser that erupts approximately every hour and a half, with those eruptions averaging around 13 stories high! If you haven’t had the opportunity to see this natural wonder, please make sure it’s part of your trip to the park.
2. Hayden Valley
At one point in time, Hayden Valley was actually a lake, but now it’s one of the more reliable spots in the park to spot running wild bison, among other wildlife. You might have the opportunity to see elk, coyotes, or even grizzly bears. As with the rest of the park, please make sure to be careful and keep a safe distance around wild animals.
3.Grand Prismatic Spring
It’s a hot spring that looks like it was painted with a set of watercolors. Simply put, it’s jaw -droppingly gorgeous. You do not want to miss out on seeing this natural wonder. Fun fact: At 121 feet deep, it’s almost as deep as the average height of an eruption from Old Faithful.
4. Mount Washburn
Mount Washburn is one of the highest peaks in Yellowstone. With a summit over 10,000 feet above sea level, you’re definitely in for a hike if you’re hoping to get to the top, but the views are absolutely worth the trek.
5. Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center
The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center is a must-visit for anyone who wants to find out more about the wildlife in Yellowstone in a more educational setting. Here, you’ll find a history of the animals in Yellowstone, and there are also a ton of great learning activities for kids. This is just a small list of fun activities you can do while you’re glamping in Yellowstone. We really hope you enjoy your trip and have a great time with the magnificent backdrop of Yellowstone.
